  • Dr. Vanessa Shewchuk

    General Dentist

    Dr. Vanessa Shewchuk grew up watching her father practice dentistry in Edmonton. Working at his office, she developed a passion for dental care and especially loved getting to know patients.

    Dr. Shewchuk graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2013 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2017. She is excited to be a part of the fun and caring team at Apple Dental Care and makes it her goal to ensure patients are as relaxed as possible during any procedure. Preventative care is a top priority for Dr. Shewchuk, but she is also happy to address any cosmetic concerns you may have with your teeth.

    In her spare time, Dr. Shewchuk enjoys reading, yoga, and cheering on the Oilers.

  • Dr. Graeden Winkelaar

    General Dentist

    Dr. Graeden Winkelaar is a born and raised Edmontonian. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2016 followed by a Master of Science in Biochemistry in 2018. He then graduated from the University of Alberta’s Doctor of Dental Surgery program in 2023.

    Dr. Winkelaar is passionate about tailoring treatment to the unique wishes and circumstances of individuals of any age. He firmly believes in developing meaningful connections with his patients and strives to ensure their comfort at every visit. He is eager to join the wonderful team at Apple Dental Care and is excited to serve the community he grew up in.

    Outside of the office, Dr. Winkelaar enjoys spending his time golfing, camping, playing guitar, and sampling local breweries with his fiancé.
